Our Early Years Provision

For 2–4 Year Olds

We provide a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where young children can grow in confidence, develop key skills, and build a love of learning from an early age.

Our setting is open 50 weeks a year, closing for two weeks at Christmas, and offers flexible childcare options to support working families.

Provision for 2-Year-Olds

Our 2‑year‑old provision is carefully designed to support the unique needs of younger children, focusing on emotional security, language development, and early independence.

Children benefit from:

  • A calm, welcoming environment with familiar, caring adults
  • Play‑based learning that follows each child’s interests
  • Support with communication, social skills, and emotional development
  • Opportunities for sensory play, creative activities, music, and outdoor learning
  • Consistent routines that help children feel safe and confident

We work closely with parents to ensure a smooth transition into our setting and to support each child’s individual development journey.

Nursery Provision for 3–4 Year Olds

Our Nursery provision prepares children for their next steps in learning, including the transition to school, while still valuing play as the foundation for development.

Children are supported to:

  • Develop early literacy and numeracy skills through fun, engaging activities
  • Build independence, confidence, and resilience
  • Strengthen communication, listening, and social skills
  • Explore creativity, problem‑solving, and imaginative play
  • Enjoy daily opportunities for outdoor learning

All learning follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and is tailored to meet each child’s individual needs and interests.

Funded & Flexible Childcare Options

We offer:

  • Up to 30 hours funded childcare (for eligible families)
  • Full‑time and part‑time places
  • Flexible attendance patterns to suit family needs

Our team is happy to discuss funding eligibility and help parents understand their childcare options.

Wraparound Care

To support busy working families, we also provide wraparound care, including:

  • Morning care before funded sessions: opens at 7:30am
  • After‑care available until 5:45pm

This allows parents to combine funded hours with additional childcare for a full day of care in a familiar, supportive environment.
